Bookstands is the specialist stand website from 1605 Collective. The stands are also available through our publishing house. The seller is 1605 Collective, Hazenkoog 9, 1822 BS Alkmaar, the Netherlands. Product prices and purchase availability come from the same Shopify shop.
Materials and finishes
The collection is made from steel and produced in the Netherlands. Finishes vary by model: see the material and colour rows on each product page. The White T-Stand is a separate white-finished product.
For care instructions or a question about installation, contact us for advice for your model. We do not list unverified cleaning methods or assume that a particular wall fixing is supplied.

This shop does not ship to the United States. For US orders, visit our distributor Amstel Gallery.
Available shipping destinations, methods and charges are shown at Shopify checkout before you place an order. Availability depends on the destination and product; we do not promise worldwide delivery.
V-Stand XL and White T-Stand are made to order and available on request. Contact us to confirm the arrangement and timing. For other products, follow the current availability shown on the product page. If a stocked model runs out, orders may be available on backorder: dispatch follows the arrival of new stock. Backorders are labelled on the product page and in your bag. Contact us to confirm the expected timing before ordering; no dispatch date is promised until confirmed. Stock availability does not confirm a delivery date. Contact us if your order is needed by a particular date.

Returns and order changes
The existing 1605 Collective returns policy also covers our bookstands. It explains the 14-day withdrawal period, how to give notice, when to send an item back and how refunds work. For a regular return, you pay the return shipping, including for T-Stand and V-Stand XL. For damaged or incorrect items, contact us so we can arrange the appropriate solution and any return transport.
You can also contact us before delivery if you wish to withdraw. If dispatch has already started, the parcel may still arrive. Read the full current returns and cancellation policy.

For a business order, multiple stands or a product available on request, email shop@1605collective.com. We confirm availability, delivery arrangements and any quotation before you decide. An enquiry does not place an order. See our current returns policy for the terms that apply to your purchase.

Which stand should I choose for an art book?
Choose the display position first, then compare your closed and open book measurements with the published product limits. Use the comparison. If a limit is not published, ask us.
Can I buy the stands directly here?
Available stands can be ordered here through the existing 1605 Collective Shopify checkout. Products on request keep an enquiry option. The final price, shipping and payment options are confirmed in checkout.
Where can I find books to display?
1605 Collective is an independent publisher of photography and art books. Explore our books here. Check the dimensions of your chosen edition against the stand.
Can you check my book or portfolio box?
Yes. Send its width, height, thickness and weight, plus the open dimensions if you want to display an open spread. Contact us for advice.
