Shopping and country preferences

This website has its own bag. Its essential cart cookie lasts up to 30 days and lets Shopify retrieve your bag. Your selected country is remembered for up to one year so prices and ordering restrictions use the right destination. These preferences are separate from those on 1605collective.com.

If you have not chosen a country, our hosting provider’s country indication may identify a US visit. We use it to show our Amstel Gallery referral, without adding a separate IP-tracking service. This shop does not ship to the United States.

Local storage remembers when you close the US welcome message. A later US purchase attempt still shows the partner referral. The Amstel Gallery link opens their website with its own privacy policy. We do not send your bag or checkout credentials in that link.

Optional measurement and personalisation

Analytics and personalisation are separate choices. When these services are enabled, the preference controls in the footer let you allow or refuse each one and change your choice later. Choices expire after 180 days. Newsletter permission is separate from permission to track product or bag activity.

When optional attribution is enabled and you allow analytics, we use known referring website domains and public campaign codes to understand how visitors find Bookstands. We exclude referring page paths, search terms and other URL query details. Campaign names must be configured in advance. With your analytics permission, a short-lived measurement code may accompany the checkout link to connect your visit. Checkout keeps its own privacy choices.

Refusing optional tracking does not prevent shopping. Product reviews are loaded by our server; this website does not load a Stamped browser widget.

Checkout and external services

Checkout is provided by the existing 1605 Collective Shopify shop. Shopify handles the information you enter there and the payment options you select. Hosting and our shared content service deliver pages, product information and images. Technical logs may be processed by these services. Cart secrets and checkout credentials are excluded from our application’s diagnostic messages.

For questions, contact shop@1605collective.com. Read our ordering and delivery information and the current shipping and returns policy before ordering.
